MASTER TERMS & CONDITIONS
7220 Trailhead Wrenchworks – Mobile Mechanics

These Master Terms & Conditions ("Terms") govern all automotive repair services provided by 7220 Trailhead Wrenchworks ("Company") to the customer ("Customer"). These Terms consolidate and replace all prior verbal or written policies, including but not limited to warranty, returns, refunds, deposits, payment, and returned payment policies.
By authorizing service, approving an estimate, submitting a deposit, or paying an invoice, Customer acknowledges and agrees to these Terms.
1. AUTHORIZATION & ESTIMATES
- All services are performed only with Customer authorization.
- Estimates are based on visible and known conditions at the time of inspection.
- Additional repairs or costs require Customer approval prior to proceeding.
- Diagnostic, inspection, and travel fees apply once services are rendered.
- Phone calls and text messages between the Company and Customer may be recorded or logged and are considered valid proof of authorization for services, estimates, or approvals.
2. DEPOSITS REQUIRED FOR LARGE JOBS
2.1 Deposit Threshold
A deposit is required prior to scheduling or commencing work for:
- Jobs estimated at $1,000 or higher
- Labor-intensive or multi-day repairs
- Special-order, custom, or non-stock parts
- Engine, transmission, suspension, electrical, or diagnostic-heavy work
- Commercial, fleet, or custom jobs
Deposit requirements are determined at the Company’s sole discretion.
2.2 Deposit Amount
- Deposits generally range from 30%–50% of the approved estimate.
- No work will be scheduled and no parts will be ordered until the deposit is received.
2.3 Deposit Application
Deposits are applied to the final invoice and may cover parts, labor, diagnostics, scheduling, mobilization, and travel.
2.4 Deposit Refunds
Deposits are non-refundable once:
- Parts are ordered or sourced
- Labor or diagnostics begin
- Time is reserved or mobilization occurs
If canceled before parts are ordered and before work begins, a refund may be issued minus administrative, processing, or supplier fees, as permitted by Wyoming law.
3. PAYMENT TERMS
3.1 Payment Due Upon Completion
- Full payment is due immediately upon completion of services, minus any deposits previously paid.
- Vehicles may not be released from service, and additional work will not be performed, until payment is received in full.
- Failure to remit payment upon completion constitutes a breach of these Terms.
3.2 Returned Payments / Non-Payment
- Returned, declined, or dishonored payments are treated as non-payment for services rendered.
- Under Wyoming law, knowingly receiving services without payment may constitute theft of services (WY Stat § 6-3-401 et seq.).
- The Company may pursue legal remedies including, but not limited to:
- Reporting the incident to law enforcement
- Collection actions
- Filing a mechanic’s lien on the vehicle for unpaid services, as permitted under Wyoming mechanics lien statutes (WY Stat § 34-29-101 et seq.)
- Customer is responsible for all costs associated with collection, including attorney fees, lien filing fees, and court costs.
3.3 Accepted Payments
- Accepted forms of payment will be disclosed prior to service.
4. RETURNS & REFUNDS
4.1 Labor & Fees
- Labor, diagnostic, and travel fees are non-refundable once services are performed.
4.2 Parts Returns
- New, unused parts may be eligible for return within 7 days of service completion if uninstalled, undamaged, and in original packaging.
- Special-order, electrical, installed, used, or clearance parts are non-returnable.
4.3 Parts Refunds
- Approved refunds are issued minus applicable restocking or supplier fees.
- Refunds are processed to the original payment method.
5. WARRANTY POLICY
5.1 Workmanship Warranty
- The Company provides a limited 30-day workmanship warranty covering defects caused solely by Company labor.
- Warranty remedies are limited to repair or re-performance of the affected service.
5.2 Parts Warranty
- Parts are covered exclusively by manufacturer warranties, if any.
- The Company does not provide independent parts warranties.
- Labor for warranty part replacement is not included unless required by the manufacturer in writing.
5.3 Customer-Supplied Parts
- No warranty is provided for customer-supplied parts.
- All labor involving customer-supplied parts is performed at Customer’s risk.
6. WARRANTY EXCLUSIONS
Warranty coverage does not apply to:
- Normal wear and tear
- Pre-existing conditions
- Improper maintenance or neglect
- Overheating, contamination, or fluid loss
- Accidents or environmental damage
- Modifications or aftermarket components
- Work performed by others
- Systems not expressly serviced
Warranty is void if repairs are attempted by third parties without written authorization.
7. NO GUARANTEE OF OUTCOME
Automotive repairs involve variables beyond the Company’s control. The Company does not guarantee vehicle longevity, prevention of future failures, or identification of unrelated or latent defects.
8. DISCLAIMER OF IMPLIED WARRANTIES
TO THE FULLEST EXTENT PERMITTED BY WYOMING LAW, ALL IMPLIED WARRANTIES, INCLUDING MERCHANTABILITY AND FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, ARE EXPRESSLY DISCLAIMED.
9. LIMITATION OF LIABILITY
- Liability is limited to the amount paid for the specific service performed.
- The Company is not liable for incidental or consequential damages, including loss of use, towing, downtime, or lost income.
10. CANCELLATIONS & NO-SHOWS
- Cancellations with less than 24–48 hours’ notice may incur fees or forfeiture of deposits.
- No-shows may be charged a service or travel fee.
11. GOVERNING LAW & VENUE
These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Wyoming. Any legal action shall be brought exclusively in the courts of Albany County, Wyoming.
12. ENTIRE AGREEMENT
These Terms constitute the entire agreement between the parties and supersede all prior agreements or representations. Amendments must be in writing and signed by the Company.
CUSTOMER ACKNOWLEDGMENT
By authorizing service, approving an estimate, or submitting payment, Customer acknowledges and agrees to these Master Terms & Conditions, including payment, deposits, warranty, returns, returned payment provisions, and that phone calls and text messages may be recorded and used as proof of authorization.
